About the Role As the Assistant Director, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support daily operations, mentor educators, and drive high-quality outcomes for children and families. You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining compliance, and fostering a positive and professional workplace culture. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Educator or Educational Leader ready to step into a leadership position, or for an established Assistant Director seeking a supportive and growth-focused organisation. Key Responsibilities Support the Centre Director in all aspects of centre management and operations Lead, mentor, and support educators to deliver engaging, play-based programs Ensure compliance with the NQF, EYLF, Victorian Regulations, and centre policies Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture Build strong and trusted relationships with families and the local community Assist with rostering, enrolments, compliance documentation, and audits Step into the Director role when required What You'll Need Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Previous leadership or senior educator experience (preferred) Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and Victorian early childhood regulations Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills Current VIC Working with Children Check First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, and Anaphylaxis training Why Join Our Client?
